Chicken Vet was born out of a constant and ever increasing amount of phone calls and enquiries from owners of chickens and other vets around the UK, looking for veterinary help and advice about their chickens. This lead Chicken Vet to develop a network of veterinary practices around the UK that could offer advice to keepers of domestic fowl, fancy fowl and small flocks.

We are please to be registed as one of the Chicken Vet's "Chicken Friendly Practices." We are interested in the care of backyard chickens and are working with Chicken Vet to improve this area of veterinary medicine. We will examine your chickens at Ash Veterinary Surgery and provide treatment and advice. If needed, we can receive small amounts of unusual chicken drugs, or expert advice from the Chicken Vet specialists.
