June is National Identichip Month. This is a campaign to encourage and promote responsible pet ownership through microchipping.

To support this great idea, we're offering identichips for dogs and cats for only £15 throughout the whole month of June.

To take us up on this offer, please phone the surgery for an appointment with a nurse. The microchip can be implanted at any of our branches, or whilst your pet is under anaesthetic. Please ask for details.

An identichip is about the size of a grain of rice and is injected under the skin in the back of the neck. It can be read by a special scanner; used by vets, police, dog wardens and rescue organisations. This allows your pet to be reunited with you, should they go missing. Unlike a collar or tag, it cannot be removed or accidentally lost.
