We are celebrating the anniversary of the surgery by modernising and upgrading the equipment and investing in new technology which will benefit patients, clients and staff.

The surgery has installed a state-of-the-art digital X-ray system, similar to that used in many hospitals. This system processes the images to make them as clear as possible, eliminating the film faults and exposure problems suffered by older systems. This reduces the number of X-rays needed, so patients will be exposed to as little radiation as possible and will spend less time under anaesthetic.

Because the system is digital, images can be produced without using toxic film-developing chemicals which can be harmful to the environment.

Here at Ash we are committed to providing the highest standard of veterinary care to our patients. We are delighted our new X ray processing system will our patients, but also help us become more environmentally friendly.
